ABSTRACT:
This study developed and evaluated a neem-based herbal soap using Azadirachta indica (Neem) leaf extract, known for its strong antimicrobial and antiinflammatory properties. The soap was formulated with a natural base of coconut, castor, and palm oils using the cold process method, with added aloe vera and turmeric to boost skin benefits. Physicochemical tests showed ideal pH (6.0–7.0), high foaming ability, effective cleansing, and skin compatibility. Microbial analysis confirmed strong antibacterial activity against common pathogens. The study highlights the potential for a natural, eco-friendly, and commercially viable herbal soap alternative to synthetic products
